Places to Visit
Mortimer Forest
Marlbrook Hall is in the heart of Mortimer country. We welcome walkers, and Offa's Dyke and Mortimer Trail are close by for energetic walkers. Or you can hire cycles for the day to explore nearby quiet country lanes and trails.

Wigmore
The local village of Wigmore is approximately two miles away with a community shop, garage and two country pubs. The ruins of Wigmore Castle, which dates back to the Norman conquest, stand proud above the village and offer lovely views of the surrounding Wigmore basin.

Ludlow
The historic market town of Ludlow is 7 miles to the west of the farm. Renowned for its links to food the town hosts an annual food festival in its famous castle and hosts regular farmers markets.

Leominster
Visit Leominster the historic wool town renowned for its antique shops.

Hay-on-Wye/Wales
Hay- on- Wye is 40 mins drive away with its annual world renowned book festival and its is just a stones throw away from Wales too.

Church Stretton
This picturesque town is within an hours drive with its antique shops and access to walks on the Long Mynd.

National Trust
National Trust places to visit nearby include Berrington Hall and Croft Castle. There is also the Black and White village trail, which takes you through picture postcard villages in Herefordshire.

Food and Drink
The local area is blessed with lots of excellent local pubs and restaurants, and we would be happy to recommend these for you and book a table for you.
